HOSPITAL HEALTH CHECK SURVEY – DOCTORS IN TRAINING 2019

AMA Tasmania has launched the inaugural Hospital Health Check Survey 2019 open to all Tasmanian doctors in training.

AMA sees this as the Junior Doctors of Tasmania's opportunity to report on how their hospital performed - what they are doing right and where they are falling short in 2019.

As in other states of Australia, the information gathered is critical. It provides the basis for a longitudinal data set to track training within the hospital system within Tasmania.

The survey findings will also allow AMA Tasmania to engage with health services and government on behalf of doctors in training particularly around specific changes to working conditions and hospital culture.

The results of the survey will be made public and used in AMA advocacy. ENDS
